California Company Begins Business Planning For New Office Space

Location is important for practically any business, whether it is for retail purposes, commercial office space or warehouse space. Many times a company will find a better location for its operations than the one the company is already occupying. This is the case with one California clothing company which is looking to move to a more preferable location. The move will require significant business planning in order to be efficient and effective.
The clothing company, Ironclad Performance Wear Corp. specializes in athletic wear and work clothing. The company will be relocated to a 13,000-square foot office space. The company’s CEO believes that the move will better position the company to allow more access to the company’s growing customer base. He also says it will provide a better quality of life for the company’s staff.
Although the company will be opening its new corporate headquarters outside of California, the company will continue delivering its products to California through its distribution center. Ironclad is planning to bring six of the company’s current corporate employees while hiring 20 new employees for the new office space. The new corporate location will begin operations in early September if everything goes according to plan.
On the other hand, the company’s business planning will also need to make sure that Ironclad’s new corporate location will adhere to all rules and regulations. This can be important in this case since the company is moving from California to another jurisdiction. The applicable laws in this new locale may be significantly different.
