New business startup uses unique business model for food

It is one thing to be able to prepare good food for customers at restaurants. However, sometimes it takes a creative edge to be competitive in the restaurant market in California. One possible advantage would be to begin delivering meals to customers. One new business startup is looking to do exactly this.

Maples is a new delivery service specializing in bringing meals to customers. The new startup company has teamed up with some of the best chefs in the restaurant industry in order to provide affordable meals, ranging from $12 to $15, to nearby residents. Maple started operating in April 2015 and is now looking to expand.

The startup company's business model is different than a standard restaurant. Instead of maintaining a walk-in restaurant location, Maple's team of chefs cook and prepare the meals in central kitchens and then send out the meals directly to customers. Maple has recently announced a plan to expand its current delivery area, which will allow the company to enlarge its market share.

On the other hand, expanding a business startup will take considerable amounts of planning in order to be successful in California. This is why having a comprehensive business plan in place is essential for any company looking to start operations or expand its current market. A business plan will also be necessary to obtain any funding needed during the startup phase. However, companies should make sure their business plans are compliant with applicable rules and regulations to avoid potential legal problems in the future that could be financially damaging.
